What will you do?

Charles is looking for talented and creative User Interface Designers starting March 2021. The ideal candidate should have an eye for details and a strong passion in conceptual thinking & visual design. ❤️ Furthermore, you will:

Be responsible for the user experience of our software
Do informal user research to learn from the users we serve and understand their concerns
Work in interdisciplinary teams to create and iterate mock-ups according to user stories
Set up and lead alignment session on mock-up validation with developers and product owner
Ensure consistency of interaction and visual elements across features via abstraction in a master design library
Develop and challenge our design library
Be the design magician you learned to be in the past 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♂️😉

What skills will make you and us successful?

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the visual and user experience of innovative digital products, particularly web & app applications in the field of conversational commerce. Through defining product concepts and user research, you will work closely with development teams to realize your design ideas and build out products. You stand up for your work and present it with a winning personality to colleagues and our customers.

The following requirements help you stand out:

3+ years of professional experience in product design, from user research, experience, interaction, and visual design
Ability to break up complex contexts into smaller solvable design challenges
Passion for advocating UX consistency by creating flexible UI components
Good eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
Technical understanding is a big plus so you understand how software interfaces are built and can collaborate with your developer colleagues
Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, German is a plus
A high level of personal commitment, which brings us even closer to the passion behind your work
Exposure to or working experience with Agile development (we are a software company after all 😎)
